About the Webinar:

NARPM® is working in partnership with the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA) to educate and answers questions of property managers regarding its housing programs. Here is your chance to provide input and ask questions about the Housing Choice Voucher program (formerly Section 8), Sacramento Rental Housing Assistance (SERA) program, and new programs that address the regional homelessness crisis.

SHRA staff in charge of these programs will provide a brief overview of their programs and spend the remainder of the webinar answering questions from property managers. We encourage you to submit your questions in advance when you register so we can incorporate the answers into the presentation, or you may ask questions during the program.

Speakers:

MaryLiz Paulson

MaryLiz Paulson is the Director of the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program and the Sacramento Emergency Rental Assistance (SERA) Program for the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA). MaryLiz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Behavioral Science, specializing in Community Health and Social Services, from UC Davis.

 

Tanya Cruz

Tanya Cruz is the Program Manager for Housing Choice Voucher Program, overseeing the Intake and Owner Services units. She has spent over 15 years working for Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA). Tanya holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from San Jose State University. 

Registration:

• Free for NARPM® Professional Members who have paid both 2023 NARPM® Local Chapter and NARPM® National dues.
• $10 for property managers who are not members or have not paid both 2023 NARPM® Local Chapter and NARPM® National dues.
• $10 for others (administrative staff and others)

Membership:

Discounted registration fees are a benefit of NARPM® membership, and the annual savings will exceed the cost of your local chapter and national memberships. To take advantage of the savings, property managers need to pay BOTH the local chapter dues ($50 for property managers) and the NARPM® National dues for Professional members ($295 for renewing members and $245 for new members).
