To become a member of the Sacramento Area Chapter of NARPM® or to renew your membership, please click on one of the following membership categories:
NARPM® members: The membership year is January 1 through December 31. National dues are $370 (only $320 for new members) and local Chapter dues are $50. National dues are paid directly to the national organization at narpm.org. Local Chapter dues are paid online here.
Affiliate members: The membership year begins and renews the month in which you join. Affiliate dues are $495 for membership in the NARPM® Sacramento local chapter. Membership in the NARPM® national organization is optional, and the national Affiliate membership dues are $320 ($270 for new members).

Lunch & Learn events feature speakers on current industry topics. Recent topics included digital marketing, new state laws requiring inspections of balconies and elevated structures, regional real estate market updates, and rent control laws. Annual Education Conference and Trade Show
The Property Management Expo held in September is the region’s largest educational conference and trade show for the residential property management industry. The all-day event features nine educational seminars and a trade show of with about 50 businesses offering products and services for property management.
This annual seminar features attorneys who explain new local, state, and federal laws and regulations affecting property management in the coming year. Open to members and non-members. Sponsorships available for Affiliate members.
This free webinar is a popular benefit providing members with free legal information. During the one-hour webinar, an attorney answers questions from members, and everyone benefits from hearing the responses. Limited to property managers, but one Affiliate member can sponsor the program. Held three times per year.
Property Managers Breakfasts
Held at different locations around the region, these informal gatherings provide 10 to 15 property managers the opportunity to discuss property management issues and exchange information. There is no registration fee to attend. Instead, everyone pays for their own breakfast. One exclusive sponsorship is available for Affiliate members to meet the property managers and explain their products and services.
Networking Mixers
These events provide an after-hours business networking opportunity for all members. For some events, property managers attend for free and receive complimentary food and beverages courtesy of the Affiliate members sponsoring the event. Mixers range from a social hour at a local brewery to larger events, such as a bowling tournament.
Monthly newsletter
NARPM® Sacramento publishes a monthly newsletter called Source. Each issues includes alerts on industry issues, upcoming events, new members, answers to legal questions, and other helpful information. Click here to see a sample edition.
An online directory of businesses that provide products and services is available under the Affiliates tab of this website. The listed businesses are Affiliate members of the association and specialize in serving the residential property management industry.
As a NARPM® member, you can participate for free in any scheduled webinar. The schedule of webinars can be found at http://www.narpm.org/education/webinars/ and all webinars are recorded and archived on NARPM.org for future viewing.
NARPM® certification programs enable property management professionals to continually update and refine crucial skills. Professional members can earn the Residential Management Professional (RMP®) and Master Property Manager (MPM®) designations. The Certified Support Specialist (CSS®) program is specifically designed for Support Specialist. The Certified Residential Management Company (CRMC®) can only be earned by a Professional Member’s company that has reached the highest level of excellence in their profession.
The NARPM® monthly e-news magazine, Residential Resource, is the source for industry information, legislative updates, and tips for making your business more successful.
Broker/Owner Retreat
Brokers and owners of residential property management companies come together annually for the NARPM® Broker/Owner Retreat. Take advantage of peer-to-peer discussions on how to run successful operations.
