Fair Housing Seminar and Certification

Thursday, April 14

9:00 am – Noon

Mack Powell Event Center

2003 Howe Ave., Sacramento

Fair housing issues seems to be in a constant state of flux. Property managers need to keep current with a myriad of state and federal laws and regulations. Failure to comply with these ever-changing laws and regulations can result in costly fines and penalties for both property managers and their clients. This annual fair housing seminar provides an overview of California and federal fair housing laws; identifies and describes all of the protected classes; explains the fair housing enforcement process and typical settlement costs of fair housing complaints; and discusses current fair housing issues and the best practices for compliance. This seminar provides essential training for new property managers and employees of property management companies as well as an important update for experienced professionals.

Certificates of attendance of fair housing training will be provided to attendees present for the entire seminar.
